This program creates skins for the Nokia series 80 communicator (9300 and 9500)

Installation
Unzip the SkinWizardS80 on you hard disk and start SkinWizardS80.exe. When you update first remove the old directory.

Features

Save powerdesk images
Wizard will lead you through the whole process.
Loads bmp and jpg images.
You can select an area of the picture.
Basic skin colors and properties can be altered.
Recompile option to re-create the MBM files from the bitmaps and change the colors.
It is possible to add new and alter the skin templates.
Source code included (Delphi 7).

Warning
A skin replaces system files on your S80 phone. Ensure that you have a full (*) backup of you phone. When an incorrect skin file is installed on your 9300/ 9500 communicator it is possible that your phone will not start any more. This means you have to perform a hard reset (shift ctrl F during restart) and you will loose your data on the C drive. You use this program on your own risk.

(*) Check if the contacts and the calendar files are backuped.

Advanced features
The source code is provided in the SourceCode directory. You can build the project using Delphi 7.

You can change and add templates in the templates dir. To Create a new template copy one of the existing templates and place it under another name in the same directory. The bitmaps in the template source directory are compiled into mbm files. The name of the directory is the name of the mbm file. You can add a new mbm file simply by adding a new directory. All images in the directory should be sequential order counting from 1. (1.bmp,2.bmp,3.bmp, ...) The default colors and descriptions are stored in the DefaultColors directory.

Skin all property descriptions and image descriptions can now be found in the file SkinInfo.txt

Known problems

The bmconv.exe utility does not work on some 2000 systems.
